1

Preliminary eligibility enquiry

The corporate counterparty provides non-sensitive information on the commercial purpose, participants, jurisdiction, amount, tenor and proposed structure.

2

Transaction and documentary review

We review the underlying transaction, contractual framework and apparent documentary requirements, subject to the scope agreed with the client.

3

Compliance-readiness preparation

The parties organise corporate records, ownership information, KYC/AML material and other documents normally required for institutional review.

4

Direct engagement with a regulated institution

The applicant approaches its own bank or another regulated financial institution. That institution independently performs credit, compliance, sanctions and legal assessments.

5

Independent decision and documentation

Only the relevant financial institution can decide whether to offer financing, issue an instrument or communicate through authenticated interbank channels.

6

Limited ongoing coordination

Where separately mandated, Torus Group may continue to assist with non-banking documentary coordination between corporate counterparties.

Important. Torus Group does not issue, reserve, guarantee, authenticate or promise bank guarantees, standby letters of credit, documentary credits, MT799 messages, MT760 messages or any other bank instrument. No outcome is assured. Any decision belongs exclusively to the relevant regulated financial institution.
